Health Desk-- 3rd July, 2018: Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) officials on Monday claims the privately-run Max Hospital in the port city is allegedly running operations with inadequate documents.
A three-member probe committee, formed by the DGHS to investigate the death of Raifa Khan, three-year-old daughter of journalist Rubel Khan, made the statement while talking to journalists.
Raifa, who was admitted to the hospital with a complaint of sore throat on Friday, died from wrong treatment by doctors of the private hospital, alleged her family.
The probe committee visited the hospital and spoke to the doctors and victim's family.
However, Dr Kazi Jahangir Hossain, chief of the investigation team and also the director (Hospitals and Clinics) of DGHS, said a notice will be served to the hospital and actions will be taken against its authorities.
