Health Desk: Nov 11, 2017—The number of diabetic patients is increasing alarmingly in the country because of mental stress, smoking and growing habit of taking junk and rich food and physical inactivity, said, speakers at a press conference on Friday.

Diabetic Association of Bangladesh (DAB) and WHO also projected that the country has now 84 lakh (8.4 million) diabetic patients, they opined.
