Health Desk-- June 15, 2017: Second time medical admission seekers blocked a road in Chittagong city on Wednesday demanding withdrawal of a government decision of deducting five marks from their total marks of the test.
According to the sources, hundreds of admission seekers staged a sit-in on SS Khaled Road for around 45 minutes from 2:00pm.
Vehicular movement remained suspended on the road during the time, causing long tailbacks on the city streets.
Earlier, they also formed a human chain in front of Chittagong Press Club.
The health ministry recently took the decision of deducting five marks from the test marks of the second time admission seekers in government and private medical and dental colleges.
