International Healthcare Summit begins on 17th Nov

The International Healthcare Summit (IHS) will take place on 17th & 18th November 2018 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Dhaka.

With the theme ‘DIGITAL HEALTH & WOMEN EMPOWERMENT’ the two-day summit will be jointly organized by ATN Medicare Limited & Global Event Studio.

The government and many non-government organizations are working hard to turn healthcare sector of Bangladesh into digitized. Meanwhile, people are getting better advantages of digital healthcare services from this sector. However, it’s now a demand of time to make this digital healthcare service more dynamic so that people will get them within the shortest possible time very easily.

Women Empowerment is in favor of national development and advancement. We should keep in mind that the half of human resources are women. To properly utilize their talents, thoughts, skills and wisdom, healthcare at affordable level should be ensured at any cost. Because, the empowerment of women will be easier and stronger with the help of digital healthcare in Bangladesh.

‘Shasthaya Batayan’ (Health Portal) is a digital service conducted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare under the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The Help Line of this ‘Shasthaya Batayan’ is 16263 and citizens even from the remote area can take help of doctors regarding their health.

Almost all services including health- nutrition are now easily delivered to the doorsteps of people through union information centres at union level, e-service centres in DC offices, e-centres in 147 upazilas and village post offices and e-service of 254 agricultural information centres across the country.

Medical practitioners, Pharmaceuticals, Hospitals and clinics, Medical tourism agencies, Healthcare management companies, Health & medical spas, Insurance companies, Medical assistance companies, Health & tourism web publishers, Delegate participation, Government Bodies, Accreditation Bodies, Private Sector Corporates and Banks from Bangladesh and beyond will take part in the summit.  

The aim of the summit is to bring healthcare of the whole globe under the same roof. It will facilitate interaction, knowledge sharing and networking among the medical practitioners, health seeking people, pharmaceuticals, stakeholders of the health industry, entrepreneurs and all other concerned persons of Bangladesh & Other Countries regarding different medical sectors and modern treatments.

Health news portal is the Country Event Partner in Bangladesh while Access to Information (A2i) and Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) will be with the summit as supporting partner.
