Over 13,000 community clinics got computers: Nasim

Health Desk: 20 February 2018: Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim said the government provided over 13,000 computers to community clinics and 24,000 health workers received tabs having internet facilities aimed at giving healthcare service along with preparing a database on Monday.

"The government provided computers, laptops and tablet computers with internet facilities from healthcare organizations and hospitals in national level to community clinics and rural health workers," he said this while replying to a starred question from treasury bench member Begum Mahzabeen Khaled in the Jatiya Sangsad.

The minister said the government established local area network between all upazila hospitals and district hospitals aimed at updating information through an online database.
