Work for water treatment plant opens at Bhandaria

Health Desk—4th Dec’17: Indian Higher Commissioner Harsh Vardhan Shringla on Sunday inaugurated the work to set up a water treatment plant at Bhandaria municipality in Pirojpur district.  

Eleven water treatment plants will be set up in the municipality by the Indian government at a cost of Tk 11.50 crore.

Environment Minister Anwar Hossain Manju was present as the chief guest with Pirojpur Zila Parishad Chairman Mahiuddin Maharaj in the chair.

Deputy Commissioner Md Khairul Alam Sheikh and Bhandaria Upazila Nirbahi Officer and municipality administrator Shahin Akter Sumi were also present among others on the occasion.
