Bangla VersionHealth Desk-- 15 May, 2018: A three-day international conference on disability and disaster risk management is begin held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the capital on Tuesday.
More than 100 experts from 33 countries are expected to attend the conference which will shed light on different aspects on disaster management.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the three-day conference in the morning while her daughter Saima Wazed Hossain is chairing some technical sessions.
Saima Wazed Hossain is the international focal point of advisory group on disability and disaster risk management. She is also WHO’s goodwill ambassador for autism in South-East Asia region.
