Rural Medical practitioners vow to make service programs successful

Health Desk: 15 March 2018: The Rural Medical Practitioners (RMP), widely known as 'Polli Chikitshok', have vowed to reach primary health services at the doorsteps of rural people in making the government's health services program successful. 

They made the pledge at their district level conference and reception of the newly elected divisional executive committee of Bangladesh Rural Practit-ioners' Association (BRPA) held at Shilpokola Academy auditorium in Rangpur on Tuesday, a release said on Wednesday, reports BSS. 

The Presidents, the General Secretaries and other executive committee members of the newly elected Rangpur divisional unit and district units of BRPA from all eight districts under Rangpur division were present. 

With central committee Organising Secretary of BRPA and its newly elected President of the divisional executive committee Dr Akkas Ali in the chair, Divisional Sales Manager of Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd Saiful Islam attended the conference as the chief guest. 

General Secretary of the central committee of BRPA Dr Khalilur Rahman, Regional Sales Managers of Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd Hassan Ali and TM Moniruzzaman were present as special guests. 

Newly elected General Secretary of the divisional executive committee of BRPA Dr Shawkat Hassan, its Vice-presidents Dr Jahurul Islam, Dr Nazrul Islam and Dr Rezzakul Alam Dulal, Women Affairs Secretary Dr Anupoma Rahman, spoke, among others.
