Bangla VersionHealth Desk-- 30 Nov’18: Health Secretary GM Saleh Uddin urged doctors and others concerned to perform their duties with utmost sincerity and honesty in reaching healthcare services at the doorsteps of rural and marginalised people, reports BSS.
The health official said the present government is committed to reaching healthcare services to the rural and marginalised people as they are totally dependent on public hospitals. The secretary was addressing the closing ceremony of a two-day medical service related workshop at Nanking Darbar Hall in the city on Wednesday afternoon as the chief guest.
Rajshahi Medical University (RMU) organized the workshop titled ‘Applied Bioethics in Medical Practice, Education and Research: Bangladesh Perspective’.
The workshop is aimed at disseminating ideas among the doctors and others concerned on the issue.
The workshop was attended by a large number of professors, medical practitioners and professionals from different fields.
