'Maximum Nepalese doctors studied in Bangladesh’

Health Desk--October 4, 2018: Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Prof Dr Chop Lal Bhusal on Wednesday said that most of the Nepalese Doctors have studied in Bangladesh. He called upon the people of Bangladesh to visit Nepal for better treatment of different critical diseases.

He said these while speaking at a seminar titled ‘Nepal as a Medical Tourism Destination’ on the embassy premises in Dhaka.

The Embassy of Nepal in Dhaka and Nepal Mediciti Hospital, Lalitpur jointly organised the seminar.

He said that a large number of people of Bangladesh go abroad every year for undergoing treatment and they can consider going to Nepal for the purpose of treatment.

Citing the cheaper treatment cost in Nepal, he said, “My country has world class hospitals with advanced technology and equipment.”

Prof Bhusal said that his country offers visa to the citizens of Bangladesh on their arrival in Nepal and they have to face no hassle in getting visas.

“There is no language barrier for Bangladeshi citizens in Nepal as most of the doctors have studied in Bangladesh,” he said.
