Nasim calls for quality medical education

Health Desk: 29 December 2017: Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim on Thursday urged the Bangladesh Private Medical College Association (BPMCA) to improve quality of education for creating skilled medical profession.

Nasim said these when a delegation of BPMCA met with him at his office.

He said, "We will not compromise with medical education. Private medical colleges must provide quality education through ensuring necessary medical equipments".

The government is sincerely working to improve quality of medical education for ensuring better healthcare facilities, the minister added.

Nasim said, "Some private medical colleges were set up ignoring conditions of private medical college policy. We are intensifying our efforts to implement private medical college policy to improve medical education and create brilliant physicians in the country."
