Medical board formed for Rajib

Health Desk: 06 April 2018: Dhaka Medical College Hospital has formed a seven-member special medical board for the treatment of Titumir College student Rajib Hossain, who lost his right arm in a collision between speedy buses trying to overtake each other.

The doctors of the hospital led by Shamsuzzaman Shaheen, chief of the Department of Orthopedics, arranged a meeting on Thursday.

Later, Shamsuzzaman Shaheen said, the members of the Medical Board are watching Rajiv. His brain is good. Rajiv was taken to the surgical room for dressing. Testing is going on. Because any other part of the body may be damaged after the injury. To ensure that these tests have been given.

Dr. Shamsuzzaman Shaheen said, Rajiv`s condition is stable. He was given high-quality antibiotics. All the expenses of treatment are being carried out by Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Earlier, on Tuesday, Rajib Hossain, 22, a third-year student of Government Titumir College lost his right arm after it was sandwiched between two speeding buses trying to overtake each other. He is undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit of Samorita Hospital.
