Health Desk-- 10th June, 2018: Police on Saturday arrested at least 31 alleged drug traders at Khilgaon area in the capital.
According to the sources, Motijheel division under Dhaka Metropolitan Police conducted anti-narcotics drives in Taltola and Nani Para areas, from 10:00am to 2:30pm.
During the drive, police arrested 23 drug traders, wanted in six cases. Of them, seven were listed drug traders, said Deputy Commissioner (Motihjeel) Anwar Hossain.
Seven more people were also detained on drug-related charges. The other person, Sohel, is wanted by Teknaf police in a drug-related case. Police also seized 600 yaba pills, 2kg hemp and 10 bottles of Phensedyl.
